Motivations and career

Erik can accomplish a great deal. When he's asked to work, he gets the job done. He is exceptionally detail-oriented but can work fast by making the most of the technology and utilizing software shortcuts.

As a graphic designer for Twin Sisters Productions, Erik has been responsible for issuing their jump into the new era of publication. Working collaboratively with his colleagues, he has overseen the transition from physical book production to digital eBook creation and publication. Due to his unwavering devotion, he has seen over dozens of titles converted to the ever-growing eBook format. When he wasn't working with eBooks, he spent much of his time laying out Twin Sisters marketing materials. He has overseen the design of their catalogs and sell sheets, promoting a fun and engaging look to the already child-friendly products featured. If he was ever away from his computer, his time was spent mocking up many of the company's products, from flash card boxes to CD jewel cases and sleeves as well as workbooks and varying point of sales displays. When Twin Sisters was asked to join a trade show, he was instrumental in creating any and all graphics that were used on and around the booths.

Erik's kind and gentle spirit make him a pleasure to speak to if needed. On several occasions, he has collaborated the production and printing of products with many vendors, offering personal assistance and adjusting graphics to meet intended budgets.

Outside of work

Erik thoroughly enjoys the comradery that comes with online PC gaming with friends. He spends much of his time playing team- and class-based games that require communication and teamwork to succeed. When not gaming, he loves a good movie or film to watch. He appreciates compelling and new screen writing with engaging cinematography. Games and movies offer him a chance to "live" an extraordinary life other than his own.

Erik enjoys riding his Kawasaki Vulcan 900 on beautiful Ohio summers. It's the closest experience to his life-long dream to fly his own plane. When motivated to, he enjoys a good game of basketball or street hockey (non-competitively of course). In recent years, disc golf has been a wonderful escape and a unique alternative to golf (of which he is not a fan).
